The last opinion polls show that seven out of ten citizens of Republic of Moldova would opt in favor of joining the European Union. Despite this fact, the current government did not undertake any concrete steps towards the accession of Republic of Moldova in EU.
On November 28, there will be 13 years since the signing of the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement by Republic of Moldova – the basic document that defines the relations between our country and EU. Unfortunately, the current context of the relations between Moldova and EU is not an “European integration” approach and the signing of the Action Plan three years ago is nothing else, but the acceptance of the EU neighbor status and represents in fact the abandonment of the ambition to obtain a clear perspective of accession.
The Youth Organization of the “Our Moldova” Alliance considers that it is time that the citizens of this country find out the truth – the current government does not do anything in order that Moldova joins EU. At the same time, “Our Moldova” Alliance is ready to assume the responsibility for realization of the European option expressed by the citizens of Republic of Moldova.
