Last weekend during their meeting in Zagreb, the LYMEC Bureau had the honour to visit the President of Croatia,
Ivo Josipović.
The President recieved the LYMEC delegation in his presidential palace in Zagreb. After meeting his chief political analyst,
Dejan Jovic, they discussed several topics with him.
After presenting the current political situation in Croatia, the President was very interested in the role and function of LYMEC as a European political youth organisation.
President Josipović and the LYMEC delegation talked about Croatia’s ambitions to join the European Union and the role of the President in those ambitions. Futhermore they talked about the regional responsibility of Croatia in the Balkan-area and his recent efforts to improve the relations with Serbia.
