AMN
youth accuses authorities of
blocking the opening of Romanian
consulates in Balti and Cahul
According
to the cited document, OT AMN
expresses its dissatisfaction
with this attitude of the Moldova’s
leadership, which scoff at their
citizens, hampering the facilitation
of the visa obtaining process
for Romania after it has joined
the European Union. Moldovan
citizens need visas in order
to pass the western border,
regardless of the fact if the
destination is the neighbouring
country or another one.

No Visa demonstrations.
Today
in Vilnius, European Liberal
Youth (LYMEC),
together with its members in
Lithuania - Lithuanian Liberal
Youth (LLJ) and Young Liberal
Centrists (LCUJ)
- and the Young European
Federalists (JEF),
built up a huge symbolic visa
wall resembling the Berlin Wall
and demanded an immediate removal
of the current visa regime dividing
Europe.
The
action is part of a pan-
European campaign of LYMEC for
abolishing tourist and student
visas within Europe

by JEF on the day of the fall
of the Berlin wall, where the
same demands are made in front

Dear members,
Our aim
might seem relatively
easy to accomplish,
but that's far from
true. We need the
help of our members
in all European
countries to put
pressure on the
national governments
to end the visa
regimes in all countries
on the European
continent.
We believe
in a free and developed
Europe. To accomplish
this we need to
resolve a number
of issues and barriers,
and the visa regime
is one of the barriers
that needs to be
taken down! This
is where you come
in. We ask from
our members organisations,
individual members
and IMS Clubs to
join us in this
campaign. Find out
more in the "Contribute"
section how you
can join us!
